Ingram Micro (UK) has appointed Raj Pandya, formerly of Sony to head up its AV division. Pandya will be rejoining Ingram from Sony where he currently holds the position of General Manager – B2B Channels based out of Sony’s office in Weybridge and is expected to start the newly created role of Head of Audio-Visual at Ingram Micro in the coming weeks.

A familiar face within the AV channel, Pandya worked for 12 years at Sony. Prior to Sony, Pandya worked in various distribution roles. Matt Sanderson, Ingram Micro (UK) managing director, said: “Raj has been brought on board to spearhead our drive in the growing AV and Digital Signage markets and will lead the expansion of this business unit as we look to continue our investment into growth segments”.

Pandya said: “I am clear with the opportunity that exists for a global brand such as Ingram.  I am looking forward to helping Ingram achieve their goals in this channel and look forward to cementing a leading position as the AV distributor of choice”.
