Midwich has today announced the launch of its Consumer Accessories division. Midwich recognises the growing market in accessories and consumables such as blank media, memory cards, mounts, cables and similar products. The division will therefore be stocking accessories from major brands and kicks off with Verbatim, Duracell, Hama, TDK, Ventry, Energizer, and Techlink amongst others.

Vivitek Corporation has appointed Beta Distribution to distribute the Vivitek projectors suited for the office equipment sales channel. Vivitek offers a variety of products in different brightness and resolution categories, including the innovative Qumi pocket projector, which is now available with a 5-year warranty for the educational market.

True Colours Distribution has added Atlona Technologies’ new 8×8 and 16×16 high-speed HDMI matrix switchers to its portfolio, together with TV One’s CORIO3 range of products. Atlona’s AT-PRO2HD88M and AT-PRO2HD1616M feature HDBaseT technology. The switchers extend HDMI sources, including full uncompressed HD video and audio, up to 330 feet at 1080p resolution over a single Cat 5/6/7 cable.
