Paradigm Audio Visual has undertaken a major internal restructure following founder Greg Jeffreys’ decision to return to the coal face, taking over the day-to-day running of the company as Managing Director.

Harris Broadcast Communications and PSCo Technical Distribution,have announced a distribution and market development agreement. This provides PSCo Technical Distribution with UK distribution rights for Harris Digital Out-Of-Home (DOOH) solutions and an undertaking for PSCo to carry out a market development programme to promote the role of digital signage in key vertical market sectors, such as retail, transport, corporate and leisure.

ISE 2012 attracted a record 40,869 visitors and an unprecedented 825 exhibitors, with the attendance up by more than 17% and the number of companies participating up by 15%. So ISE 2012 was definitely the biggest, however you measure it, but was it the best? AV News reports.

“A lack of industry support” is blamed for the cancellation of this year’s CEDIA Home Technology Event by the organisers. The event was scheduled to take place at ExCeL London from the 29 – 31 May 2012 but exhibitors “have failed to sign up in sufficient numbers to make the event viable this year”.

Promethean unveiled ActivTable at BETT 2012. The ActivTable is aimed towards primary school and special educational needs learners. At 46 inches, the screen provides one of the largest interactive surface areas on the market and allows up to six students to use it at any one time, with room for them to work together.

Colin Buechler, formerly senior vice president of sales and marketing, is to take over from Craig Malloy as CEO of LifeSize, a subsidiary of Logitech. Malloy is taking a step back from day-to-day operations after nine years in charge, but will continue to be an active participant as vice chairman of LifeSize’s supervisory board.
